2026 IEEE RAS International Conference on
Engineering Reliable Autonomous Systems
ERAS 2026
Vision
A forum for all stakeholders in autonomous system reliability to convene and address the more relevant outstanding issues while showcasing advancements made in their resolution.Scope
A comprehensive perspective on the engineering of dependable autonomous systems, encompassing verification, evaluation, and software engineering. In the context of this conference, "autonomous systems" refers to "systems that independently make decisions and execute actions," encompassing a range from autonomous decision-making software in virtual environments to teams of autonomous robots functioning in distributed physical settings, including both basic reactive systems lacking planning capabilities and sophisticated systems that integrate machine learning and reasoning engines. Submissions focusing on reliability over the whole system life cycle are encouraged.
Key Topics
We invite submissions of original unpublished technical papers on topics including but not limited to:
• General Understanding of Autonomy
• Reproducibility and Benchmarking
• Specification and User Needs
• Design and Systems Engineering for Reliability
• Assessing and Communicating Reliability
• Reliability in Context
